i. The total cost including board (i.e. all meals) and lodging (generally in a double bedded room with bath or shower), arranged by the Local Organising Committee, is 1200 Euro or the equivalent in US dollars. Credit Card cannot be used for any payment. For accompanying members click on the proper gem-pointer.

ii. After receiving the acceptance letter from Annalisa Guerri, you should confirm participation as soon as possible. Please, follow VERY CAREFULLY the instructions (see in particular instruction iii. below) : either confirm by email or transmit to the Bank UniCredit - the address is shown below - 300 Euros or the equivalent in US dollars as a deposit towards the total fee (see section v. below) or notify Paola Spadon, the Treasurer, by email (paola.spadon@azuleon.org). International postal remittance is also possible. Please, when bank-transferring, specify: ( care is recommended, see below and CARE, QUOTE: ) the reference number obtained when you registered the application plus your name as motivation. After recent negative experiences on the above missing data, Paola will not acknowledge any remittance if the above data are absent from the communication to the bank and/or in the xeroxcopy mentioned in the point iii. below

From non European countries (e.g.Australia, Canada, Latin America, New Zealand, USA) the bank transfer costs too much (see NOTE below); then mail to the bank address an envelope containing a personal/bank/international cheque for an amount equivalent to the required Euros, marking "NOT TRANSFERABLE", payable to "UniCredit Banca for account no. 94388": please, do not miss any word and add an accompanying letter with a short explanation (and your name!)

Electronic transfers in Euro ("online-banking") are strongly recommended; then copy the online-banking order to Paola

Any slight modification of the suggested procedure will cause a waste of energy at this end. Please, do not mention organizers' names in the bank order. Conversely,

it has been a very common and a very distressing experience (see above: CARE, QUOTE)

that the needed data are lost by the step : Department/University secretariat to the bank in your country !!! Please, care !!!.

iii. Email a photocopy of the bank (or postal) money order or of the cheque to Paola !!!! No mailing and wrong address have often resulted in a few problems.......

iv. If no news of the payment reaches Paola by March 31, 2012 through either the bank or yourself, your place at the meeting will be assigned to another applicant. Please, send warnings to Paola in a quick way ( email ! ) if your payment is likely to be delayed by bureaucracy in your country, in which case tolerancy will be used.

v. In Erice you are expected to pay the additional 900 Euros. Beware a single Eurocheque may pay only a fraction of the amount due. Credit Cards cannot be used - sorry - for this kind of payment, but personal cheques are accepted. In Erice you find a small section of the old Banco di Sicilia (now within the UniCredit Banca Group) in order to change currency.

vi. If you prefer to pay the 1200 Euros full fee in advance, follow instructions ii. and also iii. above. In either case, a letter of receipt will be emailed to you ONLY when the bank in Bologna has acknowledged the payment.

vii. The deposit will NOT be returned if your withdrawal is notified after April 30, 2012.
