Grants to cover the registration fee (whole or in part), mainly for applicants under 35, may be available from the school organizers, depending on the success of the several applications to international and national bodies, and sponsors support. A letter from a senior scientists to support the applicant's request should be sent to Annalisa together with the request for founding. The letter should include the amount requested. Grants covering travelling expenses are usually not available (organizers believe that once you are selected you should be able to obtain travel support at your end).

As possible alternative, the MAE (the Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs, DGPCC, Office VI), awards annually bursaries and contributions to foreign and Italian citizens interested in deepening their scientific and technological awareness. The information on the procedures - to be initiated well in advance - can be obtained at the Italian Embassies abroad or through www.esteri.it.
